As ECO Surv continues to grow, we’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer who loves to deliver results, values strong engineering practices and is excited to work in a collaborative, agile team environment.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer at ECO Surv, you’ll be pivotal in shaping our products and maintaining our position as the number one software solution in our industry. You’ll be hands-on with both frontend and backend codebases, championing best practices and helping to embed a culture of high-quality, maintainable software development.

Key tasks include:

  • Focusing on delivering genuine value, ensuring each contribution has a meaningful impact.
  • Being a strong advocate for modern engineering practices like automated testing, clean code, and maintainable software.
  • Contributing to product and technology strategy with a customer-centric approach.
  • Championing agile software development practices, and continuously improving ways of working across the product lifecycle.
  • Working with a variety of technologies and platforms, focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Communicating effectively with non-technical stakeholders and teammates.
  • Playing an integral role in a small, ambitious team with a collaborative culture.

Our future Senior Full Stack Developer:

  • Loves to ship frequently and cares deeply about delivering high-quality, impactful work.
  • Is comfortable with and enjoys working across the full technology stack.
  • Thrives in small teams where adaptability and a broad skillset are valued.
  • Brings significant experience in agile software development practices.
  • Has a strong commitment to clean code and principles like SOLID and Clean Architecture.
  • Is familiar with automated testing as a core practice (TDD experience is highly desirable, but not essential).
  • Is highly collaborative, embracing practices such as pair and mob programming.
  • Is committed to continuous learning and helping elevate the team’s development standards.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working in high-growth B2B environments.
  • Experience maintaining AWS Cloud Infrastructure.

Location:

Whilst we largely work remotely at the moment, our preference is for someone based in the North West of England who’ll be happy to be in the Chorley/Buckshaw office in person 2 days a week (not suited to someone who only wants to work fully remotely).
