We’re looking for a People & Culture Director (Head of People & Culture) on a fixed-term contract of 9 – 12 months for maternity leave cover.

This role is part-time, working 2 days per week, with a core focus on the strategic improvement across recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.

This role will be crucial in shaping the organisational culture and ensuring that the company’s most valuable asset, our people, are empowered to thrive. They will collaborate closely with other leaders to develop and execute strategies that support the recruitment, development, and retention of top talent.

 

Key tasks include:

  • Leadership: actively contribute to shaping the company’s vision and people strategy, offering insights on how people and culture initiatives can align with overarching goals.
  • Strategy: develop and execute comprehensive talent strategies covering the entire employee lifecycle, focusing on enhancing performance, fostering development, boosting engagement, and ensuring retention of top talent.
  • Coaching: coach and mentor a variety of stakeholders, fostering trust and rapport, and offering coaching particularly in areas such as leadership and management.
  • Inclusion: advocate for and drive initiatives to promote a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workforce, recognizing the value of diversity in driving innovation and organisational success.
  • Culture: cultivate a culture that values feedback at all levels, owning and enabling formal performance management processes and ensuring they are effective and constructive.
  • Design: design and implement operating models and organisational structures that enhance efficiency and enable success, ensuring that the company’s structure supports its strategic objectives.

 

Do you have…

  • Experience developing and implementing HR/People programs and initiatives within collaborative environments, emphasizing best practices.
  • Organisational, interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, facilitating effective teamwork and stakeholder engagement.
  • Business acumen, coupled with analytical prowess and HR expertise, enabling strategic problem-solving and critical decision-making.
  • A record of cultivating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment, establishing practices and processes to sustain and enhance such culture.
  • The ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation, leveraging partnerships to drive impactful results.
  • Success in leadership, coaching, and team-building, fostering a high-performance culture and developing world-class teams.
  • Years of progressive experience in relevant roles, including management positions, demonstrating continuous growth and proficiency in HR leadership.
