Grant Store, based in Wigan, was launched in 2005 providing affordable plumbing, heating and gas services across the North West. It has since grown into a market leader for domestic energy solutions. They offer boiler installation and maintenance, loft and cavity wall insulation as well as renewable energy options, tapping into ECO funding for customers where applicable.
The company has been using Eco Surv for three years and also utilises Eco Surv’s mobile app for boiler installations. From the beginning, Eco Surv has evolved alongside Grant Store to provide exactly what they need, from incorporating greater CRM features such as diary and reporting functions to developing the software and app to support boiler works.
Before using Eco Surv, admin was tying up vast amounts of valuable time for Grant Store. Each installation requires between 20/25 documents, and with up to 60 boilers being fitted per week, not to mention cavity wall installations, the paperwork was piling up. It could take Grant Store a full day to complete a submission to a utility company for ECO funding, but now with Eco Surv it can be done in 30/45 minutes and the process is completely paper-free.
“Initially we used Eco Surv more for the surveying side of things. Our CRM at the time was not doing what we wanted so Eco Surv started to add more CRM features to their software. “We talk to them regularly and they listen to our feedback on what’s working and what would be beneficial to add in. “The boiler app is great; we use it when gathering details at a property. Originally the app was just for chartered surveyors, cavity wall insulation and U values then Eco Surv started to adapt it more for boilers to suit our needs. “It gathers all customer details, photos for submission, captures customer consent and it all goes into the online portal.
